Citizen of the Month

Kinsey was awarded Citizen of the Month for December 2007 at her school, Lakeview Middle School. One of her teachers had to nominate her and all the other teachers have to vote on it. The individual who is named Citizen of the Month is an individual who is an all around good citizen that helps others out and is a good role model to her peers. Generally you have to have good grades also. Kinsey got her picture in the paper up in Warsaw. Very exciting and very proud moment from Mom and Dad.

Mame was quite the trooper on Christmas. She gave her two grand-daughters a horse back ride they will not soon forget. Neither will Mame!

Spending Time with Old Friends

Over the holidays we were able to spend some time with an old friend of Jeff's. John Mulholland a friend from his childhood who now lives in Georgia, was in town seeing his girlfriend, Christy. She lives right around the corner from us. Such a small world.

Here is Kinsey and Laci with Grandma Katie. We got to see her and Uncle Terry at Christmas. We don't get to see them much so we enjoy the time we do get to spend together.


Laci got her first Rocking MoMo from her favorite Aunt Diane. Laci loves it, it is pretty cool!


Here is Kinsey and Laci sitting on Uncle Joel's lap. It was a rather emotional Christmas day at the Dornick Home. Joel left right after the new year and will be deployed to Iraq in Mid April we think. In the interim he is doing training in Georgia and then will head off to Kuwait. Our prayers are with him and his family during this time.
