Kinsey has started her own blog. Be sure to check it out. We are pretty proud of her. If she can do this than surely her Daddy should be able to figure it out!

We have also added it to our page as a favorite. Keep up the good writing Kinsey!

Hiatus
I know it has been forever since we have added to the blog. My apologies. We are having problems with downloading pictures off our camera. I think I need to go and buy a new cord. The computer keeps saying that the USB device is not recognized. Even though I move it to different ports in the back I get the same message and I can use other things in these ports and they work fine. Hence I think it's the cord. None the less we have pictures stuck in the camera.
I can give a brief synopsis of what we have been up to.
We took a trip to the Children's Musuem back in April. Laci had a great time, she loved it. Got lots of pictures. Mommy and Laci went down the two story slide twice! I think Mommy liked it more than Laci. Kinsey and Laci took a ride on the Merry-Go-Round. That is all Laci could talk about was horsey ride. We wore her out and she slept all the way home. Looking forward to many more trips to the Musuem.
Laci turned 2 years old on April 19, we had a small party for her this year, just family. She is getting so big and so independant and so winey!! Jeff says she gets that from Cindy. Laci had her first trip to the Dentist, Dr. Hazelrigg here in Noblesville. She was very excited to go, we talked about it for a couple days. She wasn't so excited once she got there. It did not go so well, but they did manage to brush her teeth, polish them and then he counted them, she has 16. Dr. Hazelrigg said her teeth looked really good!
Laci weighs 29.5 lbs and is 34 inches tall. She loves to sing songs. I have got to learn some new ones, I am so tired of twinkle twinkle little star and Old McDonald had a Farm. Every night instead of reading night time stories, we 'rock-a-little-bit' and we sing songs. We converted her crib to a big girl bed right after her 2nd birthday. She does pretty good staying in bed at night. She has always done extremely well with going to bed (knock on wood). She is getting out of the habit of taking two naps and is pretty much down to one nap a day. When we lay her down for her nap in the afternoon on weekends we have to put the gate up at her door or she won't stay in there. We also broke the habit of putting her to bed with a bottle. That one, believe it or not was pretty easy. Every night after we get done rocking and singing we kneel down by her big girl bed and say our prayers. She is so cute she wispers Dear Jesus, and then Mommy says the rest. She finishes with a big AMEN. She always remembers to pray for her Uncle Joel over in Iraq.
Well it's that time of night, we need to go rock-a-bit and sing our wonderful songs! Oh and you ask how the potty training is going? Don't ask, she's still not into it. We will be making a trip to Sam's this weekend to get some more diapers. :-(
